Bailey Barnes is a transactional associate at GableGotwals, where she represents clients in a wide range of corporate transactions with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and commercial finance. Bailey supports all stages of a transaction, from early negotiations, due diligence, and drafting definitive agreements to navigating closing requirements, securing regulatory approvals, and counseling post-closing disputes.
At the University of Oklahoma College of Law, Bailey served as Notes and Comments Editor for Oklahoma Law Review. Her student comment, Software v. Software: How Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act Threatens to Undermine Antitrust Law, appeared in the spring 2022 publication.

- Sale of family-owned truck frame manufacturer, collision, and alignment corporation and related entities.
- Sale of family-owned tree-trimming company to a national acquisition and investment company.
- Purchase of the NGL transportation pipeline and related facilities in Texas and Louisiana.
- Purchase of a high-end carwash business with eleven locations in operation or under development.
- Purchase acquisition bids for oil and gas assets, including salt domes and mineral interests.
