Clare Gibbons is Of Counsel at GableGotwals, where she focuses on corporate transactional matters, including cybersecurity, federal contracting, and commercial and operational contracts.
Prior to joining the Firm, Clare has held positions at Cherokee Federal and ONE Gas, managing government and federal contracts. She has extensive experience drafting and negotiating Master Service Agreements for IT products and services, non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, reseller agreements, and government contracts.
In her corporate work, Clare has led contractual negotiations with the government, monitoring, analyzing, and advising internal stakeholders on evolving cybersecurity requirements—especially DFAR requirements, NIST standards, and TSA cybersecurity directives. She has developed wide-ranging operational knowledge in the process of managing capital projects, system inventories, and leak surveys to identify cybersecurity risks and develop and implement compliance action plans.
