Jason Seay is Of Counsel at GableGotwals. Jason is an experienced technology lawyer focused on data privacy, security and governance. He serves clients in the healthcare, financial, energy, and technology industries. Jason has experience advising clients on regulatory compliance, breach response, data privacy and security, artificial intelligence governance, and broader regulatory and transactional matters.
Prior to joining the Firm, Jason held in-house legal and compliance leadership roles at companies including GeneDx, a global genetics and diagnostics company, and DaVita, a leading healthcare provider. He also served as Associate General Counsel for a regional health system in Alaska and represented state agencies as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Oklahoma. He has additional experience in healthcare law, employment law, civil litigation, and administrative law.
Jason earned his J.D. from the University of Tulsa College of Law, where he completed the Health Law Certificate, received a CALI Award in Philosophy of Law, and was a member of the Board of Advocates. He received his B.A. in Philosophy from the University of Oklahoma.
He is a Certified AI Governance Professional (AIGP) and a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US). He is licensed to practice in Oklahoma and Alaska.
