Susan Jordan has devoted her legal practice to the representation of hospitals, physicians, nurses and other health care providers in the areas of malpractice defense, risk management, litigation management, licensing, peer review, and credentialing. She has obtained numerous defense verdicts on behalf of physicians and hospital clients. She now focuses on representation of health care providers and hospitals in credentialing matters, hospital fair hearings, health care arbitration, and representation before state licensing boards. She provides legal representation to physicians and practice groups in the areas of risk management, bylaws, policies, documentation, and compliance.
Susan earned her law degree with honors from Southern Methodist University School of Law and holds an undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Susan is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, Texas Bar Association, Tulsa County Bar Association, American Health Lawyers Association, Christian Legal Society, and the Texas Bar Foundation. She is an arbitrator on the American Health Lawyers Arbitration Panel.
She was selected as a Texas Super Lawyer (2005-2012) and one of the Top 100 Attorneys in Dallas/Fort Worth in 2008. Susan is a frequent lecturer to hospitals, physician groups and health care entities in the areas of risk management, hospital operations, peer review and credentialing. Susan was selected to the 2015 Nation’s Top One Percent by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel.
