Kyle Weiner is a litigation Associate at GableGotwals, where he previously served as a Summer Associate. His experience includes drafting arguments for complaints, motions, and responses for complex litigation. His legal research covered a range of legal issues, including anti-terrorism law, sovereign immunity, free speech, mootness, standing, and tort law.
Prior to law school, Kyle was an Air and Missile Defense Officer in the United States Army. During his military service, he held several leadership positions, including Chief of Operations, where he advised senior leadership, managed complex operational planning, and oversaw personnel supporting military operations in the United States and abroad.
Kyle earned his J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law, where he served on the Board of Advocates and was a member of the Corporate Law Association. While in law school, he served as a Judicial Intern for Chief Judge Amos L. Mazzant III of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. He also served as a Judicial Extern for Magistrate Judge Bill Davis in the Eastern District of Texas. He conducted legal research, drafted memorandum opinions, and assisted with a criminal trial.
