Zoe Butts Dowdell is Of Counsel at GableGotwals, where her practice focuses on complex civil litigation, business litigation, general insurance defense and bad faith litigation, and medical malpractice defense litigation. Zoe also represents clients in a variety of general healthcare matters. With a strong background in healthcare litigation, Zoe works closely with clients through the litigation process and takes pride in setting forth an aggressive defense. Zoe’s practice includes matters in both state and federal courts, including handling litigation matters from the date of filing through trial and appellate matters.
Zoe was born and raised in Oklahoma City and attended the University of Oklahoma College of Law, graduating with honors. At OU Law, Zoe was a member of the Dean’s List, Dean’s Leadership Fellows, a Class Representative for her class each academic year, and served as a Mentor for the 1L class during her final year. She was a recipient of the William T. and James Comfort Merit Scholarship. Prior to law school, she graduated from the John V. Roach Honors College at Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science.
Zoe currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma County Bar Association and is a member of the William J. Holloway Inn of Court.
Outside of her law practice, Zoe spends her free time with her husband, Joe, their daughter, and their dog Lemon.
