Katherine Himaya Lewis is a litigation Associate at GableGotwals, where she focuses on commercial litigation, drafting motions and briefs, conducting complex legal research and analysis, and providing trial support.
Prior to joining the Firm, Katherine served as a Staff Attorney with Legal Aid Services of Oklahoma, where she represented clients in a variety of civil litigation matters. She also served as a Law Clerk with Texas Rio Grande Legal Aid’s Family Defense Project, a Student Attorney ad Litem in The University of Texas School of Law’s Children’s Rights Clinic, and a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Aurora Martinez Jones of the 126th Civil District Court in Travis County, Texas.
Katherine earned her J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law, where she was the recipient of the Victor and Myra Ravel Law Scholarship in Children’s Rights and the G. Rollie White Fellowship.
