July 1, 2025 | GableGotwals Shareholder Bob Getchell was appointed by Governor Stitt as Creek County District Judge.
Bob has been a practicing attorney in Oklahoma for nearly 40 years. His broad-ranging experience includes civil litigation involving mortgage foreclosures, contract matters, fraud, partition actions, condemnation proceedings, bankruptcy, probate matters, and real estate transactions. The broad scope of Bob’s legal practice will serve the residents of Creek County well as he takes on a docket that will include civil matters, probate, guardianships, and criminal cases.
Bob joins fellow GableGotwals alumni Jodi Jayne (Magistrate Judge, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma), Travis Jett (Justice, Supreme Court of Oklahoma), John Russell (Judge, U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma), and Patrick Wyrick (Judge, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma).
