Secured Key Appellate Result in Arbitration Award Dispute

Secured a significant appellate win on behalf of a client in the Fourteenth Court of Appeals, which affirmed a trial court order confirming an arbitration award and held that the mandatory venue provision in Section 171.096(c) of the Texas Arbitration Act applies to confirmation proceedings involving arbitrations otherwise governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.
