The Journal Record Names Three GableGotwals Shareholders as 2025 Leadership in Law Honorees
Read More >November 18, 2025 | The Journal Record recently named GableGotwals Shareholders, Ellen Adams, Jennifer Annis, and Amy Fogleman as 2025 Leadership in Law Honorees. The awards program, which took place on November 6 at Innovation Hall in Oklahoma City, recognizes attorneys in Oklahoma for their excellence, ethics, and community involvement.

Ellen Adams co-chairs the Firm’s Employment and Labor Practice Group. She counsels and advises clients on employment law compliance to mitigate risk across a variety of industries, including energy, construction, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and banking. Ellen regularly develops policies, procedures, and training to align clients’ business goals with human resources best practices. Ellen has also been involved in several community organizations over the years, including the Down Syndrome Association of Central Oklahoma (DSACO).

Jennifer Annis has more than 25 years of litigation experience. She has handled hundreds of cases involving professional negligence, insurance bad faith, products liability, and commercial litigation, and has tried numerous cases to verdict. She is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. Jennifer has also served as a board member for the Special Olympics of Oklahoma for many years.

Amy Fogleman represents numerous publicly-traded companies, Native American tribes, tribal businesses, and privately-held businesses. She has successfully represented clients in state and federal courts, including the Fifth, Eighth, Ninth, and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. She has also facilitated numerous settlements in her role as an Adjunct Settlement Judge for the court-ordered dispute resolution program in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma. Amy has also been involved in a number of community organizations, including serving as Secretary of the Board of Trustees for Holland Hall School and a member of the Board of Governors at the Summit Club.
