Renee DeMoss

Renée DeMoss is of counsel in the Tulsa office of GableGotwals. She has more than 26 years of legal experience advising national insurance companies and large and small businesses.

Since Renée’s admission to the Oklahoma Bar Association (OBA) in 1984, she has won many honors including being named as an Oklahoma Super Lawyer in Litigation, receiving the 2006 OBA Mona Salyer Lambird Spotlight Award which honors women who have distinguished themselves in the legal profession, and receiving the 2008 OBA Alma Wilson award which honors a bar member who has made a significant contribution in improving the lives of Oklahoma children.

Renée is currently on the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Attorneys Mutual Insurance Company and the National Bar Foundation.  She is chair of the Oklahoma Bar Association Litigation Section, and chair of the Oklahoma Bar Association Women-in-Law Committee.  Renée is a past president of the Oklahoma Bar Foundation, the Tulsa County Bar Association and the Tulsa County Bar Foundation.  She has also been very involved in a variety of community organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors of Operation Aware, and participation in Leadership Tulsa Class XVII, Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Green County, United Way, and providing pro bono work for The Nature Conservancy.

Renée’s recent experience includes:

• Representation of major insurance companies in ERISA and other insurance litigation matters in all Oklahoma Federal Courts and in Oklahoma State Courts
• Representation as counsel for the Tulsa Parking Authority
• Representation of various commercial businesses in breach of contract matters
