August 17, 2026 | GableGotwals is proud to announce that CEO and Chairman, John Dale, and Managing Shareholders, Amy Stipe and Trent Shores, have been honored with the Patriot Award from Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a Department of Defense program.

The Patriot Award recognizes individual supervisors for the support, flexibility, and cooperation they provide to employees who serve in the National Guard and Reserve. Recipients are nominated directly by the service member or their spouse for actions such as accommodating flexible schedules, granting time off before and after deployments, and supporting military families while a service member is away.

Oklahoma has one of the highest per-capita populations of military veterans and service members in the country, making this recognition a testament to GableGotwals’ long history of public service, including supporting those who serve in the military. The Firm takes into consideration their military service in a particular year for purposes of total year-end compensation.

The Firm leaders were nominated by Hillary Stuart, Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve Judge Advocate General’s Corps, and Ashlyn Smith, Lieutenant Colonel in the Oklahoma Air National Guard Judge Advocate General’s Corps, who credited them with accommodating their military commitments, providing flexible scheduling, including extended leave around deployments, and supporting their families throughout periods of service.
