Commercial Leasing - Making the Deal with Today's Challenges.

The local chapter of NAIOP – the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties recently asked Steve Schuller to coordinate and moderate an expert panel on “Commercial Leasing – Making the Deal with Today’s Challenges.” The local chapter consists of real estate developers, building and shopping center owners, industrial property owners, real estate brokers and agents, title companies, and attorneys. The panel discussion which was led by Steve, included three real estate leasing professionals who addressed a wide variety of leasing topics and issues currently confronting local landlords, tenants and developers. Steve’s function, in addition to organizing the program and leading the discussion, was to provide a legal analysis of the issues, including a special focus on documentation techniques and challenges.
