Erin Dailey has been named a Shareholder with GableGotwals. Dailey has been an Associate with the Firm since 2005. Dailey’s civil litigation practice includes work in the areas of ERISA and insurance defense, labor and employment law and commercial litigation. Erin graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma in 2000, where she was a National Merit Scholar. She graduated from the University of Tulsa Law School where she was a member of the Order of the Curule Chair and awarded the distinction of the “Most Outstanding Student in the College of Law.” Following graduation, Erin served as a law clerk to the Hon. Sven Erik Holmes, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma. In the spring of 2005, she co-taught Constitutional Law II at the Tulsa College of Law. Since Erin’s admission into the Oklahoma Bar Association in 2004, she has been given the distinction of being named as an Oklahoma Super Lawyer Rising Star.


Tom Gruber has been named a shareholder with GableGotwals. Gruber has been Of Counsel with the Firm since 2011. He has more than 34 years of legal experience, including more than a decade as Oklahoma’s first assistant attorney general. He served two terms as district attorney for Woods, Woodward, Alfalfa, Major and Dewey Counties and was twice elected president of the Oklahoma District Attorneys Association. Tom is a former chairman of the Oklahoma Ethics Commission, former criminal division chief deputy attorney general and former assistant district attorney in Cleveland, McClain and Garvin Counties. Gruber was named as the state’s outstanding district attorney in 1986 and given the National Association of Attorneys General Marvin Award for “outstanding leadership, expertise and achievement” in 2007. Gruber attended Northwestern Oklahoma State University and received his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law.


Mark D.G. Sanders has been named a shareholder with GableGotwals. Sanders has been Of Counsel with the Firm since 2009. He served the preceding 15 years as Law Clerk to the Hon. Albert S. Dabrowski, Chief United States Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Connecticut. Prior to his tenure with the Court, Sanders spent eight years in private practice in Missouri and Connecticut. Sanders teaches Bankruptcy & Reorganization as an adjunct professor at the University of Tulsa School of Law. His Bachelor’s degree (A.B.) is from Occidental College, where he was Student Body President and received the Economics Department’s Outstanding Senior Thesis Award. His law degree (J.D.) is from the Columbia University School of Law. Sanders is also a cum laude graduate of the Holland Hall School in Tulsa. Sanders’ practice focuses primarily in the areas of bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, and commercial litigation.


Mia Vahlberg has been named a shareholder in the GableGotwals law firm. Vahlberg has been with the firm since her graduation from law school in 2004. Before becoming an attorney, she worked as a natural gas marketer for a major oil company, co-founded a natural gas marketing company, and worked as certified public accountant. She attended the University of Tulsa Law School, where she graduated with highest honors, and received numerous awards including the Order of the Curule Chair. Vahlberg focuses her practice on oil and gas matters, regularly representing public and private energy companies in commercial disputes. Additionally, she has successfully litigated issues involving insurance, construction contracts, trade secrets, trusts, and wind farming.
