
Lewis T. LeNaire
Lewis T. LeNaire joined GableGotwals in September 2011 as an associate in the firm's Oklahoma City office. His practice consists generally of complex business litigation in both state and federal courts, with a focus on energy industry clients involved in contract, lease, royalty, and environmental disputes.
Lewis graduated summa cum laude from the Oklahoma City University School of Law in 2011. While in law school, Lewis was a member of the Oklahoma City University Law Review and received the publication's Outstanding Comment Award for his case comment, Vermont v. Brillon: Public Defense and the Sixth Amendment Right to a Speedy Trial, 35 Okla. City U. L. Rev. 219 (2010). Lewis was a Hatton W. Sumners Scholar, received CALI Awards in eleven courses, and was a member of the Ruth Bader Ginsburg American Inn of Court. He also served as a judicial extern for Magistrate Judge Bana Roberts of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma.
Lewis earned his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in English from the University of Central Oklahoma. Prior to entering law school, he worked as a legislative analyst for the Oklahoma State Senate and as a telecommunications project manager for West Interactive Corporation.
Lewis is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association, the Oklahoma County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association. He has been admitted to practice in the Oklahoma Supreme Court and all Oklahoma District Courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Western, Northern, and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma.
