Laura HillLaura C. Hill

Before joining GableGotwals, Laura C. Hill served as the Assistant Dean of Institutional Assessment at the University of Tulsa College of Law (2006-2009), as an associate attorney at a boutique environmental law firm serving national oil & gas clients (2003-2006), and as a term law clerk to the Honorable Sam A. Joyner, U.S. Magistrate Judge in the Northern District of Oklahoma (2002-2003).  She represents both privately-held and public companies in a wide range of civil litigation and regulatory matters, and has experience in environmental litigation, energy and natural resources law, oil & gas litigation, asbestos issues, OSHA compliance, social security law, and complex commercial litigation. 

Laura is involved in a variety of community and professional organizations, including Leadership Jenks, the Tulsa Area United Way, and the Oklahoma Bar Association’s Women in Law committee.  She is admitted to practice before the Oklahoma Supreme Court, all Oklahoma district courts, and in all three United States District Courts in Oklahoma (Northern, Eastern, and Western Districts). 

Laura's recent experience includes:

Obtaining summary judgment in favor of client on various tort claims in complex construction litigation

Review of corporate standard operating procedures for the handling of asbestos-containing materials and compliance with OSHA

Defense of oil & gas royalty class action lawsuit
