Kane Cassil is an associate attorney in the firm’s Oklahoma City Office. His practice primarily consists of complex business litigation, mineral title examination, and administrative law matters before the Oklahoma Corporation Commission.
Kane graduated with highest honors from The University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2018, finishing fifth in his class. While in law school, Kane received numerous scholarships and honors, including The Order of the Coif, 10 Academic Excellence Awards (designating the highest grade received in a given class), the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation Scholarship, and the Comfort Top Ten Scholarship. He also served as Vice-President of the Oil & Gas, Natural Resources and Energy Law Society and was a Moot Court Competitor on the National Native American Law Student Association Team.
As a former petroleum landman, Kane brings years of energy industry experience and knowledge to his practice. Prior to law school, Kane worked as a landman on various prospects in Oklahoma and throughout the U.S., serving clients in diverse land-related roles. Kane also served as a Student Intern with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission and was a Law Clerk with GableGotwals while in law school.
